Bake Sale

We couldn’t have asked for a nicer day for the annual MOPS (Mother’s of Preschoolers) Bake Sale/Yard Sale which was held this past Saturday.  Debra and I were there bright and early to get the coffee going and set up the “sweets” table.  Between Saturday and Sunday at church we sold absolutely everything with all proceeds going to support this wonderful program.  Thanks to all our local friends for supplying the delicious baked goodies!

So happy for the sunshine…

and for lots of great helpers that gave of their time.

We splurged on good Starbucks coffee but unfortunately I made it way too weak for this Norwegian community.  Note to self:  12oz. of coffee does not equal 72 cups of coffee.  Will do better next year.  People were still kind and bought it anyway.

The cookies on a stick were a big hit with the kids.

We used this old canning rack to hold napkins and sugar packets.  The beautiful flowers are from Debra’s garden.

These chalkboard tags from last Christmas really came in handy for labeling the food.

We ended the day sunburned and tired but it was well worth it – can’t wait for next year!
